Marina Pak has been an advocate for almost 30 years and has been involved in resolving many landmark commercial disputes with international companies and has accumulated extensive experience in arbitration proceedings, including those involving private international law.
 

Her status as an advocate was terminated in November 2019.

Representing Agip in negotiations regarding the acquisition of shares in an oil company.

Representing a shareholder of a major HoReCa company in a dispute over its partner's breach of a shareholders' agreement governed by English and Welsh law.

Restructuring and full legal support of a transaction to acquire a complex solid minerals mining and processing enterprise owning one of the world's largest polymetallic ore deposits. The transaction was governed by Russian and English and Welsh law.

Commercial law

Representing a major Russian automotive dealer in a dispute with a contractor over a contract for building a dealership.

 

Representing a debtor in bankruptcy proceedings in negotiating a settlement agreement with the creditor bank to settle a USD 44 million debt.

 

Representing an insurance company in a dispute with a reinsurer to recover insurance payments in connection with a plane crash.

 

Representing a major international pharmaceutical company in connection with recovery of debt under supply contracts.

 

Representing a major international maritime tug and towing service provider in a dispute with a pipeline operator over payment for services rendered.
